1. Flight Radio Telephony Operators Licence (FRTOL) Practical Tests
a. The delivery of FRTOL Practical tests is subject to satisfactory presentation of proof of successful examination pass in the UK CAA Communications theory examination and UK CAA form SRG1171: Flight Radiotelephony (Communications) Training Syllabus – Training Record signed in accordance with Section 4 or 5 as applicable.
b. Payments are non-refundable. However, candidates unable to attend at the agreed time are requested to provide 24-hour notice, whereupon the appointment can be rescheduled.
c. Andrews’ Aviation are obliged by UK CAA to make an audio recording of the FRTOL Practical test including the additional assessable questions. It is a requirement to store this recording for a minimum of 30 days but it may be stored up to a maximum of 3 years. Andrews’ Aviation may be required to release this audio recording and the associated SRG 2160: Flight Radiotelephony Operators Licence (FRTOL) Practical Test Report Form to UK CAA for regulatory auditing purposes.
2. UK CAA eExams
a. The delivery of UK CAA eExams is subject to satisfactory registration as a candidate member of Andrews’ Aviation (GBR.DTO-0165).
b. It is the candidate’s responsibility to liaise directly with UK CAA to register with the Tasman examination system, Andrews’ Aviation will assist where possible.
c. Andrews Aviation pays examination fees to UK CAA on the candidate’s behalf. These disbursements are non-refundable.
3. UK CAA Communication Paper Examinations
a. Payments are non-refundable. However, candidates unable to attend at the agreed time are requested to provide 24-hour notice, whereupon the appointment can be rescheduled.
